Today, the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency launched a mobile app that enables you to conveniently and securely buy your ticket and pay your fare all within your mobile phone. The app, which is built on top of PayPal’s Braintree platform, offers PayPal as a payment option.

 

We’re excited because with the addition of the San Francisco Muni, PayPal and Braintree now enable payments for the most popular modes of transportation in the Bay Area, including Chariot, Lyft, and Uber.
