PayPal Earns Spot on Interbrand’s Top 100 Global Brands List
 
Earlier this year we became a newly independent company, and the teams here at PayPal have worked tirelessly to reimagine payments, to help make it safer and more affordable for anyone to move and manage their money.  We genuinely aim to champion our customers and put them at the center of everything we do …. no matter if they are a merchant creating a new marketplace, a mom sending money to her child at college or someone who wants to buy goods from a different country and wants to make sure their money is safe.  Our efforts are paying off. 
 
We were delighted to hear that PayPal has earned a spot on Interbrand’s prestigious Top 100 Global Brands of 2015 list, joining other incredible brands including Disney, Nike, Coca Cola and GE.   This honor is more than just a ranking. Being one of Interbrand’s Top 100 is the recognition that our brand is truly global and has successfully transcended geographic and cultural differences – a profound accomplishment for our young company.  As the world’s leading digital payments platform, we pride ourselves on this global reach, serving users in more than 203 markets. PayPal sees great value in disrupting and democratizing the movement of money through technology, giving our 169 million global users access to the full range of financial services directly through their mobile phones. This effort - this brand - is making a true difference in people’s lives and we are honored to have been recognized for this.
 
Earning this honor from Interbrand, the world’s leading brand consultancy, just months after becoming a stand-alone company is inspiring and energizing.  Yet there is incredible room for growth as we make strides towards fostering a strong brand identity as the new PayPal.  We’re all looking forward to evolving our business and brand.  There is so much more to come from PayPal.  We can’t wait to share it with you.
