PayPal Launches Merchant Pilot with Alibaba Wholesaler
Today, PayPal is pleased to announce that we’ve extended our existing business relationship with Alibaba.com by launching a limited pilot program for 7 select vendors who sell on Wholesaler, the B2B section of Alibaba’s web site. The pilot program, which starts today, allows JASCOM INC; KIKO; Kooding.com; Mii Strategy Inc.; USA Michigan Wholesale; everpretty; and HI POP to offer PayPal as a payment option to other businesses buying through Alibaba.com Wholesaler.
Since 2008, PayPal has been a simple and secure way for merchants who want to become suppliers on Alibaba.com to pay for their memberships. The pilot program we are launching today builds on this relationship. While this is a limited pilot program, we look forward to learning from this partnership with merchants and are enthusiastic about the potential for ongoing collaboration. While there is no set end-date for this pilot program, we will provide updates on this blog.
