For the last four years, PayPal has proudly joined forces with Shopify for the annual competition where an entrepreneur with a great idea can start a business using the commerce platform to outsell the competition. This year, five winners will be selected to learn from some of the most business savvy entrepreneurs and win a trip to the world-famous Great Gatsby Mansion in New York, and visit the New York Stock Exchange to ring the opening bell.

 

Last month the 2015 winners (where more than half of them used PayPal as part of their winning strategy) went to Puerto Rico to celebrate on their way to collect the grand prize - a trip to Necker Island.The winners took a private plane to get there and spent five days with five successful entrepreneurs – Sir Richard Branson, Shark Tank’s Daymond John, Author/TV host Marie Forleo, Investor/Author Tim Ferris and Entrepreneur/Author Seth Godin.
