This holiday season, add a little social media cheer to your marketing mix! Shoppable media is an up and coming content marketing strategy that more and more social media platforms are developing capabilities to offer, and it provides a great opportunity for your business to help holiday shoppers check off their gift lists.
Shoppable media enables a consumer to click on a piece of merchandise showcased in a piece of content they’re viewing online, such as a social media post or a website image, and instantly be connected with a checkout page to purchase the item. It removes the barriers between discovery and purchase.
In order to help prepare small businesses to make the most of the shoppable media opportunity, we are hosting a Twitter Chat September 16th titled, “Help for the Holidays – Your Guide to Shoppable Media,” to explain how it works and how businesses can put it to use during the holiday season. We’re excited to be joined by the below social media, small business and our own PayPal merchant experts who will provide insights and tips.
Follow #BizTipsChat on Wednesday, September 16th from 12:00 – 1:00pm PT to join the conversation!
