Today, Venmo kicked off the #DearVenmo campaign to give back and help grant wishes, big and small, this holiday season. From December 14 – 16, 2021, Venmo will be giving away $200,000 to help grant wishes for the Venmo community, whether it be to help with rent or a flight home to visit friends and family for the holidays. Venmo customers will have the opportunity to share their holiday wish on Venmo’s official Twitter and Instagram channels for the chance to receive a special payment from Venmo.*
To participate, customers can either retweet Venmo’s post on Twitter or comment on Venmo’s Instagram post, including their holiday wish and Venmo account handle.
To help make even more wishes come true, Venmo will be donating $1 for every eligible social engagement on their Twitter, Instagram and TikTok to support Make-A-Wish, up to $500,000, allowing everyone to get involved in granting life-changing wishes for children across the U.S. with critical illnesses.**
Venmo customers can participate through December 16. Don’t have a Venmo account? Creating one is easy and free sign up online or download the Venmo app through the Apple or Google Play app stores.
